Membership

Membership on the Council is by appointment by the Board of Selectmen at the recommendation of the current council members. Two consecutive three-year terms can be served before a member must remove themselves for one year. All meetings are accessible and open to the public, with meeting notices posted at Town Hall and published in the Georgetown Record.
